The new Microsoft Surface is a 10.6-inch capacitive touch display tablet running the most anticipated Windows 8 OS . It is the first tablet developed by Microsoft and will be available with two versions of Windows OS – Windows RT and Windows 8 Pro . The Windows RT one is just 9.3mm thick encased in magnesium VaporMg case and weighs only 676 gm . It is powered by the NVIDIA-made ARM chip and ccomes with a built-in stand, WiFi, and Gorilla Glass HD display.The cover is magnetic (for auto-lock / unlock when you close/open it) and comes with multi-touch keyboard and a trackpad. The Windows 8 Pro tablet is powered by the third generation Intel processor and sports more grunt specs than than the Windows RT tablet .
